Traveling Man Treasures is selling this 40.5" tall pair of vintage statues depicting the Hindu Deities Sita and Rama. These lightweight wooden statues are intentionally distressed to look much older than they are (c. 1980s) and are in good overall condition, although the bases do have small imperfections.
Sita and Rama are central figures in the Hindu epic Ramayana, representing a divine couple who embody righteousness, devotion, and courage. Their story involves Rama's victory in a contest to win Sita's hand, followed by their exile to the forest, Sita's abduction by the demon king Ravana, Rama's rescue mission aided by the monkey god Hanuman, and a subsequent ordeal by fire to prove Sita's purity.
