This antique Nordic arm ring is a stunning piece of wearable art. Made from silver and five fine shaped & smoothed stones, this bracelet is in pristine condition for its age (c. 1700s) and originally comes from the Nordic region of Northern Europe & the North Atlantic, including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands.

The Norse people were artisan jewelry-makers, creating simple pieces of metal jewelry, as well as decorative objects of fantastic design & craftsmanship. The most popular jewelry among Norsemen were bracelets, also known as armbands, arm rings, or torcs. Arm rings were mostly worn by men and used for both adornment and commercial trade.
