Antique Roman Silver Legionary Archer's Ring with Mountain on Bezel

This Legionary "archers ring" has a wide triangular shaped bezel to protect the wearer's finger from arrow damage during battle. The inscribed mountain scene along with other decorative elements adds an artisnal touch.

This artifact has been attested as authentic to the Roman Empire (264 B.C. - 476 A.D.) by Mr. Matthew Wicks of Ancient Hands LTD, and is accompanied by a signed digital PDF copy of the ring's “Provenance & Ownership” documentation.

This artifact (and others discovered there) was originally found in the city of Sirmium, an ancient metropolis in the Roman province of Pannonia, located on the Sava river, on the site of modern Sremska Mitrovica in the Vojvodina autonomous province of Serbia.
