This ancient Phoenician mosaic glass fish pendant shines with a multitude of colors from scales to tail. The craftsman works the molten material into colorful ribbons along the body, ending in blue fins and a spouting tail. The Phoenician pendant artifact is very sturdy and will hang gorgeously on a necklace or serve as a fine cabinet display piece.

Phoenician glass was renowned in ancient times for its unique luster and beauty. The coastal dunes of southern Venice provided high-quality sand for the production of glass, as the technique of glass blowing likely originated in the first century B.C. in this region.
