Antique Phoenician Ring | Red & White Glass Center-Stone (c. 300 A.D.)
Antique Phoenician Ring | Red & White Glass Center-Stone (c. 300 A.D.)
WEAR A PIECE OF HISTORY!
Truly spectacular, this ancient Phoenician ring bears a red & white glass center-stone and ornately crafted gold-gilt metal band. A diagonal crack runs across the center-stone's oval face but does not affect the integrity of this otherwise flawless piece. This artifact can be prominently displayed at home, looped onto a chain as a pendant, or worn as the stunning ring it was intended to be.
Phoenician glass was renowned in ancient times for its unique luster and beauty. The coastal dunes of southern Venice provided high-quality sand for the production of glass, as the technique of glass blowing likely originated in the first century B.C. in this region.
This artifact has been attested as authentic ancient Phoenician and dated to circa 300 A.D. by Mr. Matthew Wicks of Ancient Hands, LTD, and is accompanied by a signed PDF copy of its "Provenance & Ownership" documentation.
