Traveling Man Treasures is selling this early 20th century bronze Indian Padmapani Lokeswara. Made in India, this Buddhist statue is in excellent condition and ready to be displayed or given as a unique gift.

Lokeswara, also known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion, is shown with a peaceful and loving expression, representing the infinite compassion and mercy shown to all beings. This statue, with its blend of traditional craftsmanship and artistic elaboration.

Lokeswara means "Lord who looks down on the entire realm" in Sanskrit. Similarly, Lokeswara is also recognized as Padmapani ("The Lotus Holder") in Sanskrit. He is a Bodhisattva who symbolizes all of the Buddha's compassion. Lokeswara is depicted, mentioned, and portrayed as either a God or Goddess in Buddhist deities in various cultures and countries.
