This ancient Egyptian blue faience-glazed stone scarab ring is truly a marvelous piece. Hand-carved and fired in antiquity, this ring displays fine detailing and has retained its structural integrity. Whether installed as stunning display art, looped onto a necklace as a pendant, or worn on the hand, this ancient Egyptian artifact is truly a show stopper.

This piece was made by local Egyptians for affluent visitors who traveled to Egypt on educational "Grand Tours" of various archaeologically significant sites between 1780-1920s; a time also known as the "Egyptian Revival Period."

This Egyptian ring is attested to as authentic and to have been made in Egypt during the “Grand Tour/Egyptian Revival” era by Mr Matthew Wicks of Ancient Hands, Ltd, and is accompanied by a digitally signed PDF copy of its "Provenance & Ownership" documentation.
