This beautiful 19th century bronze statue depicts the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, lying on his right side. Made in Chiangsaen, Thailand, this piece represents the Buddha in his last few earthly hours prior to his entry into Nirvana, a state called ‘paranirvana’.
