OWN A PIECE OF HISTORY!
This is a stunning antique Persian Luristan bronze statue of a woman in good condition for its age. The woman is nude and leaning slightly on one hip, her flowing hair back out of her face, and one arm draped in a cloth while holding a staff. The other arm was broken off and other signs of wear are visible, but the Luristan bronze has formed a beautiful blue-green patina, together adding to the beauty and intrigue of the mysterious piece. Mounted, it would make a distinctive impression upon any art collection.
This artifact has been attested as Near Eastern and/or Persian in origins by Mr. Matthew Wicks of Ancient Hands, LTD, dating it to the "Grand Tour Era" (c. 1780-1920). The Near Eastern and/or Persian regions describe the land areas of Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. A digital PDF copy of the statue's "Provenance & Ownership" documentation is attached.
